Finances

We know that questions about money and finance loom large in the lives of many students. This section of our website gathers information about a variety of financial matters you need to know about, inside and outside the College.

Currency & Exchange Rate

Unless otherwise stated, all costs on this website are given in Canadian dollars. Regent College accepts payment in either Canadian or American currency. Our current exchange rate is $1.3802 CAD to $1 USD (September 2025).

Charges will automatically convert to US dollars if payment is made with a US credit card. Regent College accepts cheques drawn on US bank accounts for payments of tuition and tuition-related fees. Please see Paying Tuition & Fees for a full list of accepted payment methods.

Additional information on fund transfers and currency exchange is available on our Banking page.

Regent’s financial aid awards are granted on a first come, first served basis. Students enrolled in a program can apply for financial aid through their REGIS account starting in mid-January each year,

Many Regent students use a combination of funding sources to finance their education. Canadian and American students may be eligible for government student loans. Other sources of funding include employment, external scholarships, and personal donor support.

Regent is pleased to offer a number of tuition benefits for church groups, alumni, student spouses, and seniors. We also offer 50% off tuition for employees of certain parachurch organizations.
