Note for Financial Aid Applicants

Financial Aid Applications for the coming academic year open in mid-January and are evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis. However, your Financial Aid Application cannot be processed until we have received a complete application for admission.

If you plan to apply for financial aid, you are strongly encouraged to submit your application for admission by January 1, regardless of whether you plan to start in September or the following January. This will allow you to submit your Financial Aid Application as early as possible.

Recommended Application Dates for International Students

While we can accept applications after the recommended deadline of May 1 for the Fall semester and August 1 for the Winter semester, applications received after this date may not have enough time to complete the application and study permit process. The earlier you apply, the more time you will have to apply for your study permit and make other preparations for relocating to Vancouver.

While we can accept applications after the recommended deadline of August 1 for the Fall semester and December 1 for the Winter semester, we may not have time to assess applications received after these dates. Following these recommendations will give us enough time to process your application and notify you of admission in a timely manner, and it gives you enough time to plan for your studies and your move to Vancouver if you're coming from outside the region.

Late Application Deadlines

Late applications are welcome. However, the likelihood of all application materials being successfully processed (particularly for international applications) decreases the later we receive the application. If you have questions about a late application, please contact our Admissions team.
