Resources

From CRUX to Reframe and Regent Audio to Interface, Regent has produced a wide range of outstanding theological resources for the global church.

A Rich Legacy

Throughout its history, Regent College has produced outstanding theological resources not only for its own community, but for the global church. Publications, institutions, and initiatives such as the ones described below have served individuals, communities, and churches around the world.

The Regent Vine, the College's latest foray into publishing, aims to carry on this legacy of excellence. We seek to celebrate and honour that work in both direct and indirect ways—indirectly, by continuing many conversations that have been carried on in other community venues for decades, and directly by occasionally re-publishing outstanding pieces of work that continue to speak to God's people today.

If you've been blessed by Regent College resources in the past, we hope you'll join us on The Vine. We are grateful to carry this rich legacy forward, and we are excited to continue serving you.

Regent Audio

For many years, Regent Audio provided access to a rich archive of lectures, sermons, courses, and discussions from throughout Regent’s history. Serving thousands of grateful listeners, Regent Audio was one of the main venues for Regent alumni, friends, and newcomers to access this community’s contributions to Christian thought and culture.

Today, The Regent Vine pursues a similar mission of reaching and resourcing the global church. We are thrilled to be producing fresh materials, and we look forward to bringing treasures from our archive back to the public in a new and more accessible online format. Watch for many Regent Audio gems to be re-surfaced in the coming days!

CRUX

Published by Regent College from 1970 to 2025, CRUX is an award-winning journal of Christian thought and opinion focused on exploring the relevance of Christian truth to all aspects of life. CRUX published articles on a vast range of topics and in a variety of formats, from biblical exposition, to poetry, to commentary on important social issues. Known especially for its contributions from Regent faculty members and alumni, CRUX has been found in theological libraries around the world. All issues of CRUX have been fully indexed, and are available in Regent’s John Richard Allison Library. You can read more about this remarkable publication in an “obituary” by CRUX Senior Editor Julie Lane Gay, published on The Vine.

The Regent Vine’s team looks forward to re-publishing items from CRUX, introducing exceptionally thoughtful and compelling articles to a new audience, free of charge, and drawing ideas and insights with ongoing relevance into new conversations.

Occupying a light and airy space on the upper floor of the College, the Dal Schindell Gallery is Regent’s in-house art gallery. Established in 1990 as the Lookout Gallery and renamed after its founder and long-time director in 2019, this space continues to play a vital role in Regent’s community and beyond, embodying our commitment to the special place of the arts in Christian life and theology.

The Dal Schindell gallery welcomes new art and artists throughout the year, and we invite you to subscribe for email updates about upcoming exhibitions. You can also browse our rich and growing collection of arts-related material on The Vine!

ReFrame

ReFrame is a 10-week, video-based Bible study that helps Christians connect faith with all of life, re-framing their everyday life and work as participation in God’s mission of reconciliation. Developed in partnership with the Washington Institute for Faith, Vocation, and Culture, the ReFrame series premiered in 2014. Since then, it has been translated into Spanish, French, Korean, Chinese, and Portuguese and used by communities and individuals around the world. ReFrame is free of charge and available for download or streaming.

Regent is delighted to build on ReFrame’s legacy of quality media production as it develops video, audio, and other types of resources for publication on The Vine.

Regent Exchange

Running from 2018 to 2024, Regent Exchange was an ambitious initiative focused on equipping, supporting, and walking with churches in the Cascadia region as they explored God’s call to serve the common good in their particular contexts. Program Director Dr. Rhonda McEwen and her team assembled small cohorts of churches and accompanied them through a learning journey that involved getting to know their neighbourhoods, discerning what their congregations had to offer, and developing new ministry initiatives in response to their findings.

The Regent Exchange team created and collected a variety of resources throughout its years of engagement with church teams. We look forward to sharing their work (such as this article by Rhonda McEwen) with a new audience on The Vine.

The Regent World

For many years, The Regent World served as the College’s premier publication for general audiences, connecting Regent’s news, people, and events to conversations in the world around us. The Regent World was particularly notable for devoting each issue to a particular theme and exploring it from a variety of perspectives.

Many themes from past issues of Regent World—including mental health, creation care, and the church—are now topics on The Vine. We look forward to continuing these conversations and drawing on Regent World’s rich history to supplement our discussion.

Interface

Regent’s Interface project invited a fresh exploration and reexamination of the relationship between theology and science. Rooted in a belief in the goodness of both endeavours and the possibility of better conversations between them, Interface invited scientists, theologians, and Christians around the world to examine important scientific discussions in the light of Christian theology.

The Regent Vine will continue to host exciting conversations about science, technology, and faith. We look forward to sharing the exceptional work of Interface contributors with new audiences.

Regent Redux

Offered in partnership with Christianity Today, Redux was a series of live panel discussions covering a variety of topics, from “Making Peace with the Church” to “Freedom in the Busy.” Each broadcast brought together Regent faculty and outside speakers for a lively conversation. Many Redux episodes are still available in this YouTube playlist.

We look forward to hosting more excellent conversations on The Regent Vine.
